Everyone you meet is not for you.

For whatever reason we often find ourself becoming people collectors.  Some of us collect friends, some professional contacts, leads, or associates.  For others we want intimacy.  This is what  gets us into trouble.  Every person is not a good fit for you.  Here is a list of reasons:  Long distance relationship, live with parents, have a kid or too many kids, baby mama or daddy drama, no job, bad sex, bad breath or body odor, too fat, too skinny, not thick enough, unemployed, different social economic status (too good or not good enough), education, behavior or manners, the list goes on and on for reasons the person you are attracted to is not the person for you.

See attraction goes deeper than the external beauty.  Initially that is what will get your attention but to sustain a relationship, one has to bring more to the table.  And yes it has to be more than just sex also.  Yes we all like great sex but what if you could no longer perform?  What would you have to offer to keep your mate in love with you?  What if they did not have the ability to perform?  Would you stay? Do they have other qualities to keep you?  See intelligence is sexy to me.  I want my mate to be loyal but also mentally stimulating.  Yes Mind Fuck me or Skull Fuck which ever works.  I find that sexy.  Other people want an activity mate and that is the thing that keeps them together.  For others it is religion.  The guilt and conviction of what it means to be married, that fear of the rath of God and going to hell will keep them together.  For others it is their kids.  I see people that stay in marriages until the kids graduate and leave home and then they divorce.  I see soccer moms in their mid 40's that the kids leave home and they totally lose their purpose.  No more events and they have to live with this man and face him daily(or get a job, or hobby) and the lose their shit.

How do you know who your person is?  Good question.  Many people want to jump the broom and tie the knot without really knowing each other.  See we all have a past and keep secrets from each other.  We never tell all.  How would it go over saying, hey baby I know you love me but I have a confession before we go any further... "I was a professional escort in college", or "I was a dancer/stripper", "I was or am a gigolo", "I was a Pimp", "I am a convicted felon", "I have ED", "I have a condition", "I take mind altering medication", "I have other children but they live with my X". Any one of these would sound alarms.  Usually because we don't tell all we hear about these things through the grape vine, or through a slip up, or years later after we have fallen in love with them.  Sometimes friends or family members bring things up that you were unaware of.  And you thought you knew your person.  This is why your person need to be multiple things for you, to you, and with you.  I recently read that your person needs to know that life with you great and life without you is impossible.  Yes reasons to spoil each other all the time.  It should be mutual to avoid resentment.  The things mentioned in the previous two paragraphs should not be an excuse.  Why because you are there to work that stuff out and to better the situation.  The barriers in this paragraph, well they need to be discussed.  Hopefully you find out sooner than later.  I learned that you never know someone until you live with them.  Even then you never really know them.  They learn to hide their skeletons in plain sight and you never even notice the bones.  You walk right by them and think is furniture or decorations.

Things that get us by:  Openness, Love, Trust, Dialogue (two way communication not an assault or attack), Understanding, Activities (date nights), Sympathy (I can't imagine, what if it was me), and Empathy (I understand I have been there also, It happened to me).  Play a game like "I Have Never Ever", or "Been There Done That" or "Cards Against Humanity".  Find out how twisted this person really is.

We all want love.  We all want to be desired.  Often we jump into relationships too fast without establishing friendships.  Or we become opportunistic and seize the moment, and we are not ready to be in a relationship.  We have our own drama going on and need to work on self.  How can we make another person happy before we make ourself happy?  We get lonely and think God sent me Him/Her and this is my chance, when God meant to show you what is possible for you in the future, not for the present.  He want you to get yourself ready for this person in the future so you can be His/Her person.  Give it time.  We are so quick to jump.  Sometimes we need to be still and create a space for your future person.  I wish you all the best in life and in Love.  May you all find your person.  I love you all.  Peace.

Last day in Comp III

Most people will be cramming for their finals right now, but the class is half filled right now and it seems that everyone here is continuing to blog.  As usual Campos and Fugina are going at it.  Eric is a bit quieter today (maybe he is sick), and I am sure that today will be bitter sweet.  I am sure that we are all glad and sad at the same time, but this journey continues and will resume in three weeks.  I plan on getting as much R&R as possible.  I wish you all luck and hope that you all enjoy your time off.  Take care, keep in touch it you wish,  and enjoy. Continue to Blog on....

Decisive

I was told to write about being decisive, I have writers block.  I think that is being indecisive.  If you know me at all, you know I am not indecisive and never get writers block.  I had fun in this class sitting next to Mrs. Campos and Fugina, they are trouble. Actually they interact like a married couple.  They bicker but it is out of love.  I sit here and listen to them and laugh inside all the time and Eric sits behind me and some of the thinks he has shared out loud are only things I would think in my own mind but never say out loud.  Overall it was a fun and a good time in class. 

Final Week

It has been a pleasure knowing everyone in class.  I have met some really cool people and made some great friendship bonds.  I have enjoyed not only my classmates but being in Professor Hamon's company.  He is truely a visonary that brings the evolution of teaching up to speed.  This "flipped classroom" comcept may not be his idea, but it is his baby.  I have enjoyed it because not only is time efficient, and productive, but it works.  Then putting our assignments on Google Drive, is the means to giving us the tools, technology, and equipment to actually do our work practically from anywhere.  Being able to use our cell phones, laptops, or the desktops and access our work without the use of a thumb drive.  Technology is a wonderful thing once you figure out how to use it.  I have enjoyed this experience.  I actually feel like I have learned so many things that I can actually apply from this class.  I did not feel totally lost or like I learnd something that I will never use.  I am using everything now as often as possible.  Thanks for having a wonderful teacher and some awesome classmates.  I hope to see you all in the future.

Google +

Google + was the one thing we did in class that I probably used the least.  I really did not play around with it enough.  I am glad that I did go on it the one time the homework assesment was on there and not on the wiki.  I am sure as time goes on though I will explorte Google+ more but for now I probably will not bother with it much.  I am loving the other google stuff though.

Syria

I love to blog now.  I love to talk and write about things anyway so blogging is good for me.  I recently posted how I felt about our country intervening in Syria on another page.  One of my friends asked me, "are you not afraid of government retaliation?"  I have to say absolutely not.  We have certain freedoms and freedom of speech is one of them.  I have to right to express my opinion.  The things I put on my Facebook blog page a usually controversial or educational.  I really express myself and sometimes say things that other people think but will never voice publicly. 
After doing some research I found that the Syria thing is mainly over a treaty we have with the UN.  We have to uphold it against anyone that uses dirty war tactics.  Gas and dirty bombs are a big NO, NO on their agenda.  The USA being a police state has to intervene and give Syria a slap on the wrist.  About 1000 people were subjected to the gas by the Syrian government but daily that same government kills 1000 people daily and nothing is done about it.  Soon as the gas killed people now it is an act of war.  We are getting involved in their civil war and we should stay out of it in my opinion. 
Another thing is that Russia, Turkey, and Iran are aiding Syria.  Since these countries are communist we have to intervene against the Syrian government.  Our government's job is to uphold freedom and democracy around the world.  So we are aiding the rebels hoping that they can overthrow their government in Syria. 
My only fear in our involvement is that Russia, Iran, and Turkey already have air support, ships, and troops in the area.  If we attack them, it may bring about a third world war.  Are we not fighting enough people already?  I voiced my opinion and that is what it is.  I have seen war and it is bad, nobody wins from it ever.  You better believe if we strike on them they will retaliate and we will be in battle in another country.  The American people need to speak up and I for one am outraged.
