Higher Education

I have found out that the better paying jobs that have the more bang for thier buck is actually the ones that require on the Job training.  The conventional way of thinking is to do what were all doing now.  Go to school, get the degree, get the dream job and become rich.  That way of thinking is not always true.  Many people with degrees are not even working in their degree fields.  Some are unemployed or doing jobs that meet lasser qualifications than what they have.  Many people who have degrees spend 10 years or more just to pay back college debt.  It is sad and discouraging how that works.  The price of higher education is a costly one.  Think about the return on your envestment and the sacrifices in time to achieve a degree.  Some degrees yield big time payoffs, others not so much.

  2. I agree. Sometimes I wonder is the debt, stress, and headaches all really worth it. However, I know in my field it will be very profitable (hopefully)!!! But remember you can not judge your future success by others success. Stay focused and make sure that you don't end up like those who don't use their degree.
